Interesting FOI case in AP’s effort to find out which state computers — actually who — was, among state employees working on state time as editors of Wikipedia entries. These gremlins policed, among others, entries about Gov. Mike Huckabee to remove unflattering remarks.

I fail to see based on the reporting of expert testimony how identifying which computer was used for an entry change compromises the security of the computer system. It’s subject to attack each nanosecond regardless.

I hope AP forges on with a worthy legal effort. State employees at computers should be as accountable for their digital work as those generating paperwork.
