The 'zelig of homophobia'

Frank Rich has a good column today on George Rekers, the Family Council-endorsed expert of Rent Boy fame who contributed junk science to the fight to keep gay people from adopting children in Arkansas. It's not about comedy. Real people suffer real harm in the Religious Right's continuing war on equal treatment of gay people.
