Halter wants a meeting

Posted By on Thu, Jun 10, 2010 at 5:08 PM

A spokesman for Bill Halter says the lt. gov., loser of the runoff battle with Sen. Blanche Lincoln, wants a meeting with her before he announces a decision on an endorsement of her for the fall general election.

Too much drama.

Robbie Wills took the better course Tuesday night. After losing to Joyce Elliott in the runoff for the 2nd Congressional District nomination, he congratulated her AND said he'd work for her in the fall.

How could a person who ran for the Democratic nomination honestly (not D.C. Morrison, in other words) do otherwise? I can name a dozen issues on which Blanche Lincoln has disappointed me, but I can't think of one contested issue on which Republican John Boozman is likely to do the right thing.
