Drugs taken at airport security check

Posted by Max Brantley on Fri, Jul 2, 2010 at 9:23 AM

LRPD says a TSA worker at Little Rock National Airport has been arrested for drug theft for taking six Oxycontin pills from a woman's purse during a security check about 10 a.m. Wednesday. The arrest was made after the woman complained that drugs were missing from her purse. According to a police report, a review of video showed Chris Burley, 33, of the TSA had concealed something after checking the woman's purse. The six pills were found, the report said.

We all went to visit my brother living in Ireland. Toured the whole country in a couple weeks. Mom bought a big crystal vase at the Waterford plant. Dad too cheap to ship it home said he could wrap it safely in his checked baggage.

In the x-ray lead crystal jsut shows up as a big ol black mass. Security made dad show what it was. Dad goes, Oh crap! Dad rolled it up in his dirty laundry for cushioning. They open and unpack in the middle of the checked baggage security checkin. Everyone in line has nothing better to do than watch. Dad had stuffed it with two weeks worth of dirty underwear. The security guys with their rubber gloves were still trying to touch it all as little as possible.

Dealing with some of the idiot travelers I have seen I could understand how a TSA guy might be driven to snag a couple Oxy Contins.

I merely relayed an incident and then afterward commented that many idiots travel.

They were unrelated but post was confusing.

Tried to call you a bit ago. Dad is going to come up next weekend to go 4wheeling. I'll be the only idiot there, unless you want to come along.

For all you readers other than rutrow this is a secret code message. Use your decoder rings.
