Why minimum attention, Boss? This lowlife SOB should be exposed (and often) for everything that he is, especially now that he’s a write-in candidate for governor.

Even those who might remember your 2004 article about Roper (I not among them, it's been six years for Christ's sake) should be reminded or informed for the first time of the evil this fool espouses.

Thus my thanks to Seth Blomeley and the ArkD-G for giving Roper’s hate “a broad platform this morning.” A few excerpts from Blomeley’s piece, if I may:

♦ A rural Pope County man running for governor as a write-in candidate praises Adolf Hitler as a “visionary and great leader” and wants “every race other than my own extinct.” Billy Roper, 38, who lives outside of Moreland, is chairman of a group called White Revolution.

♦ What would Roper do as governor? He lists a few points:

Make it a felony for any U.S. government employee to try to enforce any restriction on a personal firearm made and kept in the state.

Ban same-sex couples from adopting children or serving as foster parents.

Require all beneficiaries of state social services to be subjected to a monthly drug test.

Ban the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai Brith from giving seminars or training to any Arkansas law enforcement personnel. The two organizations, which track race-based groups, have been keeping tabs on Roper.

♦ In March 2009, Roper posted on the White Revolution website, “I am a National Socialist, and consider Hitler to have been a visionary and great leader. The world would have been a much better place had he been successful, certainly.”

♦ In a January interview with a blog called “Extreme Politics,” Roper said, “As far as the other races, I want to eliminate all of them. I’m a biological racist. I ... want every race except my own extinct.”

♦ Roper said he and other White Revolution members have been recruiting members at Tea Party rallies, targeting “young working-class whites.” He said other Tea Party members are older and worried about losing their Social Security and generally aren’t interested in joining White Revolution. He said his recruiting efforts have bothered some Tea Party organizers.

This SOB says it would be a moral victory if he gets only 10,000 votes. Let’s continue to expose the thug and make sure he’s deprived of even a “moral victory.”

We wrote at length on his poisonous beliefs back when. He filed as a write-in to get precisely this kind of broad attention for just these viewpoints. A write-in won't win. He wins only to the extent his thoughts are rebroadcast. I, of course, have also done by reprinting Whiteley's prize-winning piece. Roper was quite happy about that one, too. It's the Say McIntosh dilemma all over again, except it is to libel Say or anyone to compare them to Billy Roper.

More and more people will ask the inevitable question as the economy gets worse and worse: just what was it that got won with World War 2? All I can see is more jobs overseas, more illegal aliens over here, and more debt. Whites could have gotten better terms from the Germans.
