Death reported at prison

Posted by Max Brantley on Tue, Jul 27, 2010 at 4:12 PM

From Channel 4:

An accident has claimed the life of an Arkansas Department of Correction officer on prison grounds in Jefferson County.

Department of Correction spokesperson Dina Tyler says it happened Sunday at a private home located inside the Tucker Max Correctional Facility.

Tyler says Jackie Davis was killed when his girlfriend accidentally backed into him with her car.

It's unclear if the woman didn't see him or if she just hit the wrong pedal.

Officer killed on prison grounds SUNDAY, word doesn't get out till TUESDAY!

Does anything about that sound fishy?

That is just timing raising questions. Now let's consider if the incident sounds fishy in and of itself.

"Accidentally backed into him" that sounds fishy in that "backed into" is not backed over him. Backed into sounds as if he were crushed between vehicle and something else. How much force (speed) was involved?

There is a two day delay in word getting out but they haven't in that two days investigated a most basic aspect. Was it purposeful or senior moment of Altzheimers patient stepping on gas and driving through the bank lobby kind of situation.

Mark my words, fishy fishy fishy.

Running over somebody with your car, whether a pedestrian or a bicyclist, or occasionally one of those pesky motorcyclists, is about as close to free murder as you can get anywhere in these United States. All you have to tell the cops is, "I'm sorry Officer, I didn't see him (or her, as it may be)." After all, it's just an accident.

Were they married? Engaged? Did he owe her money?
Have her call Charlie Rangel's lawyer, I'm sure he can get her off................

You hit the nail on the head. Why DID it take so long to release the incident report?
