Every time another quality and/or controversial speaker comes to the Clinton Library I'm reminded of all the Arkansas haters who were constantly bitching about EVERYTHING related to a Clinton Library while they were busy taking down Clinton signs along our roads. I think it's clear who's keeping this state backwards...and I think it's clear that there are a bunch of Republican Clinton haters residing in state offices, powerful state offices.

Any state that produces a President should be allowed to celebrate that fact in a non-partisan manner...even Texas! And our Clinton Library is an institution that ANY EDUCATED state would be proud of...which, I guess, leaves out Texas.

Blah. I get off at 6 and I wouldn't want to walk in late for this event.
I am not a big fan of Arne Duncan and I don't want to hear the crap that will inevitably come out of his mouth.
The educational system in America needs to be reformed but he is going about it the wrong way.

I wouldn't walk across the street to hear him, socialist; but I like a place of learning to offer a wide variety of educational opportunities.

  • The Republican third way — magic?

I've made a little fun of the obviousness of news stories quoting Gov. Mike Beebe as saying there are two options to meet the expected huge increase in Medicaid costs — cut services or raise money (either by taxes or taking it from somewhere else, growth in existing revenue streams to begin with).
