Heat deaths at 10

Posted by Max Brantley on Mon, Aug 16, 2010 at 11:20 AM

The state Health Department puts the number of heat-related deaths this summer in Arkansas at 10. It offers heat-survival tips. (I'm presuming most of those with Internet access also believe in air conditioning.)

What ES mentioned yesterday...

"Protect your neck, face and head with a wide-brimmed hat"

I'm the proud owner of a Black Creek wide brim bamboo woven hat, made in USA, and sold locally at Ryans, a locally owned store.

That's quiet a feat in this outsourced day and age.

Another example of how the global warming community are cowards. Here they have 10 martyrs of the global warming cause, all died because of not running their air conditioners, like a true global warming advocate should, yet silence in the global warming community on commending these soldiers that have died for their cause. Absolute shame on the global warming community.

Air conditioning is hard to acquire when you are outside because you have to be or because you think the heat won't hurt you.
