A new Republican poll shows Mike Huckabee atop (albeit just 22-18) a field of potential GOP candidates for the Iowa Republican caucus of 2010.
I think I'll defer to former Huckabee volunteer Jason Tolbert for the analysis of this. Huckaee did win Iowa and its Religious Right-influenced vote in 2008. New Republican rules that push back the date of the event may yet play a factor in that state's importance as well.
