Vince Vance's Katrina fifth anniversary video should touch anyone with fond New Orleans memories. It's a slow day, so why not?

Good gawd. How many years more do I have to constantly hear about Katrina and da poor ole peeps in New Orleans. Enough already, the "poor us" card has been played 1000 times to much. If this was a city of rich white people, this story would have been dropped 5 minutes after the storm blew over. Just like how every other town that got wiped out by Katrina gets ignored, but since its New Orleans, I guess we'll have to bring it up every five minutes, like the people that are still living 150 years ago and can't stop talking about slavery. Enough already we get it, Katrina almost wiped out NO, we know, they got through it, its done, they recovered. Why is it that big libs can't ever stop playing any card from the past that they can? My ancestors were enslaved by Romans 2000 years ago, but you don't hear me blaming every thing bad that happens to me in 2010 on something that happened thousand of years ago.
Thanks. I'll let you drovel and drool and cowtow constantly, since its your PC duty to constantly be "poor they-ing" New Orleans over Katrina, we can't forget it, we have to be reminded of it everyday, we have to light candles once a week, on and on and on, I'm just freaking sick of hearing about it.
If it were the Titanic, I'd say the same thing, old material is old material. You big lib PC types need to get some new "poor me poor they" material to play, cause its old.
There are two types of people in the world...those who get New Orleans and those that don't. I know what side I'm on...the side that is always trying to find a way back there...the side that says, "oh I could live there" whenever somebody drops the inevitable, "it's nice to visit but...." I love that town and all it stands for. Save Charity Hospital!
I agree with ActOut. Oh wait, ActUp, you were talking about 9/11 almost 9 years later bubbling back to the surface like a Fayetteville shale frac site, right?
