Huckabee showcases cheaters website

Posted by Max Brantley on Mon, Aug 30, 2010 at 4:25 PM

Blogger Jason Tolbert, a one-time Mike Huckabee supporter, says the Huckster has sunk to a new depth by giving warm and extended exposure on his TV show to Ashley Madison, a website that puts adulterers together. Huckabee even brought a satisfied cheater on his show. This, I remind you, is the man who brought us covenant marriage. Tolbert has a clip of Huck at work.

Tolbert says the website is a sponsor of Huckabee's Fox News show. It is always about Bucks for Huck.

  • Mike Huckabee lie about Obama? We report, you decide

    February 10, 2012
Mike Huckabee, who doesn't release his income tax returns, jumped President Obama today on several points, first his support for the availability of birth control on women and then on the president's supposed dishonor of God for insufficient charitable contributions. /more/

  • The politics of presidential poundage

    January 26, 2012
The Gingrich candidacy raises anew an old political issue — will voters choose a pudgy presidential contender over a thin man? Carl Cannon, for Real Clear Politics, writes that Ed Rollins teed this up squarely for Mike Huckabee in assessing another Huck race this year: As the 2012 Republican presidential field was assembling, veteran GOP political consultant Ed Rollins gathered the remnants of his crew together in hopes of reprising their 2008 campaign with the same candidate — Mike Huckabee. /more/
  • Mike Huckabee's January love affair with Mitt Romney

    January 25, 2012
According to an anonymous "prominent Republican" quoted in Politico, Mike Huckabee almost ran for president in 2012 just to beat Mitt Romney. There was no love lost between the candidates during the 2008 race, with Romney sending out a mailer suggesting Huckabee was soft on punishing meth offenses and the death penalty and Huckabee calling out Romney for not having hunting bona fides, not being able to eat fried chicken correctly, for his religion ("Don't Mormons believe that Jesus and the devil are brothers?" he told the New York Times Magazine) and, perhaps most memorably, for his time at Bain Capital ("I want to be a president who reminds you of the guy you work with, not the guy who laid you off."). /more/
  • Romney's Mormon problem; Huck's hypocrisy problem

    January 22, 2012
Do Republican voters in the South have a problem with Mormonism? South Carolina exit polling provides a hint: Exit polls show that 43 percent of voters who said that the candidates' religious beliefs mattered "a great deal" went for Gingrich. /more/

Does he have an outstanding tax lien or what? A mob debt for which he is about to get his knees broken? What about his kids? Has one of them dug an incredible financial hole from which the Huck must dig them out?

I guess it really is all about greed. Not that I didn't realize that all along. This might have marked a new low for hypocrisy.

Max, you didn't mean to say "news show", did you? Shouldn't that read "adult entertainment show"? He has never been fond of news or accuracy for that matter but that is business as usual for FAUX.

>>Mike Huckabee, you really should be ashamed of yourself!<<

Since when has a holy-roller like Huck, Haggard, Swaggart, or Robinson ever had any shame?

Shame is what they serve others for lunch while taking widows last $10.

Huck makes a good new face for FAUX News..taking America to the bottom without shame.

Hey folks, sex never has been bad for Baptists, although they don't like to talk about it. It is such really sinful things as dancing and drinking beer that will send you to hell. How many Baptist preachers have you heard of who confessed to an affair with some good-looking matron from the congregation and was promptly forgiven?

Good sense forbids my entertaining, much less picturing, the possibility.

Yet FOX insiders insist talks are in the works for a Janet Huckabee diet and exercise video called, "Faith Can Move Mountains," built around pole dancing and smoothies.

Stop the insanity.
