That old DLC strategy is impossible to shake for someone who rode into the presidency on it- and raked in a 100 million bucks within a few short years of leaving office.
Thank goodness Plantation Blanche is wearing a button with her name on it.
waste of time, unless Boozman gets caught with a dead hooker. Willie could be spending his time stumping for more electable candidates.
Are the staffers for these folks really so dumb as to let a young, semi-attractive but slightly hippy woman in a *blue dress* stand directly behind Clinton???
If yer brother is an ax murderer you don't have much choice but to stand by him. But here we see Big Dog standing up for Bad Blanche simply to support the brand. Trig Palin is smart enough to know that Bad Blanche has no qualities the Democratic Party would want other than warming a seat in the US Senate and being counted as a Democrat though she's not. I don't personally subscribe to the idea that a bad Democrat is better than a good Republican. It's just at this moment in time there are no good Republicans.
This kind of horse shit has brought us to the gridlock in Congress that's killing America today. I swear if Linda Tripp turned Democrat tomorrow, people like Bill Clinton would stump for her though she's got no human soul within her. There are worse Democratic Senators in DC......one....Ben Nelson, but I can't think of another state who sent 2 worthless pretend Democrats to the Senate......Arkansas wins!
Blanche is horrible, Boozman is worse, but this is what we get thanks to the Democratic Party who decided to stick with worthless Bad Blanche and throw Bill Halter over the side of the ship. If Clinton & Obama had endorsed a real Democrat like Halter.....the world would never know and experience the disaster of a Senator Boozman. Clinton & Obama made this nest.....now we'll all have to sleep in it. In this case I don't miss Bill.
So is it time for the Pink Puppy to open the closet on Boozman, spill the beans, disclose the pink dress instead of the blue dress? Someone needs to open Boozman's pandora's box before November, perhaps I will do it!
Arkansas is doomed. All to vote for is war-loving blood-red Republican Lincoln, and the other war-loving blood-red Republican Boozerman.
In the debate, Plantation Blanche said she travels all over Arkansas. When was the last time she cruised down Cherry Street in her hometown of Helena? It's done nothing but crumble since she's been Senator. How she claims she loves Arkansas is beyond me. If she really cared about jobs in Arkansas she would have done something about jobs, especially in her hometown, a long time ago instead of repeatedly voting with the blood-red republicans when Bush's people were privatizing everything, outsourcing jobs, and starting the illegal Iraq war? If she really cares about Arkansas so much, why does she need a mansion in Virginia?
In the debate Boozerman, the hard-core Bushite pretended to be worried about the debt. If you like the economy mess the Bush people created, then Boozerman, from the Party of No, is your guy. He said he's got 3 daughters, I wonder how that dumbed-down "abstinence only" crap that he so strongly supported is working.
Boozerman and Plantation Blanche both claimed they were worried about the national debt, they were not the least bit concerned about the debt when they repeatedly voted for Bush's ILLEGAL war. They never found those "weapons of mass destruction", did they? Plantation Blanche and Boozerman are BOTH bought and paid for by Big Oil. Plantation Blanche took $814,882 from big oil. The article did not say how much Boozerman took, if I were just guessing, I would guess way more. Neither one cares if we ALL die from lack of health care either.
Arkansas is doomed. Nobody to vote for but war-loving greed-driven blood-red Republicans.
Boozman is going to crush Blanche because the Democrats are furious. Forget this race, it is over. If Democrats want to have some fun and do some good, support Joyce Elliot over the oil lobbyist, Tim Griffin. She is climbing in the polls as people figure out that he is one of the most corrupt politicians in America and made over $400,000 as a lobbyist last year and is lining his pockets with money from all the big polluters. It will be a big coup for Arkansas tourism if she can pull off an upset. All the big conventions will stop boycotting Little Rock because of the Central High Crisis. Please God, put Joyce over the top!
