Booze wars

Posted by on Tue, Nov 2, 2010 at 11:08 AM

There's a hot wet-dry election on the ballot today in Boone County. Wets are outspending the drys about 2-1, roughly $80,000 to $40,000. To simplify: business people (Citizens for the Future of Boone County) vs. churches (Citizens for Responsive Government.)

You can look up their contributors on the Ethics Commission website by jumping to the website section for "bqc/lqc filings."
