Lots more details here on Mark Krause, the Arkansas blacksmith arrested in Washington recently for allegedly placing a Pepsi can bomb at a polling place in Osage, Ark. during the June runoff primary election.

The FBI apparently used his Facebook page to track him down. That page and Myspace pages tell much about Krause. They include video of him firing a golf ball gun and a “birthday machine gun” and using explosives to launch an anvil into the air.

Talking Points Memo reports that he wrote on Myspace:

“I’m in a transitional period in my life. I’m a patriot. The government worries me. I have a nice shop full of enormous old machines and others I have made,” Krause writes. His favorite movies were listed as “V for Vendetta” and “Taxi Driver,” and he wrote that he’d like to meet Thomas Jefferson.

He further describes himself as “Just another crazy artist who squishes red hot steel.”
