Since Beebe and McDaniel are not providing the public with any draft maps of their redistricting proposals, it's not likely to be a productive meeting. Despite all of his other screw-ups, at least Mark Martin is making an effort to provide some draft maps for public discussion. C'mon guys, as a courtesy to the voters of Arkansas, please show us your maps so we can have something to discuss.

agree with RC...but if i were at any of these public meetings i would ask as many questions as i could especially about why the need to handle the way they have. i have heard few people are attending these official public meetings. call me cynical and skeptical.

I read that the first meeting was filled with the Tin Hat type which is interesting since the final decision is voter count, not wishes and wants. You can try to put like demands together but in the wide open sparsley populated spaces in the state, a whole lot of ground will have to be covered in a single district.

Maybe if Martimn hadn't started the situation with his grandstanding and failure to diccuss what needed to be done with the other two members, they might want to play with him.

Shouldn't Martin be working on the SoS values for cleaning the capital (BTW, you clean walls from the top down).
