Walmart grocery expansion in Little Rock

More details in our Insider this week on Walmart's plans to put a larger-than-normal Neighborhood Market in the former Harvest Foods store in the Riverdale shopping center. The project could go out for bids as early as September. Also heard on the street: Walmart plans to replace the vacant standard Walmart at Bowman and Chenal with a Supercenter. Kroger's dominance in Little Rock appears in for a test.
