Up to 120 Sears, Kmart stores to be closed

Posted by on Tue, Dec 27, 2011 at 9:42 AM

The company that owns Sears and Kmart says it will close 100 to 120 stores following a disappointing Christmas sales season.

The specific stores to be affected will eventually be announced here (site is gummed up at the moment.)

MEANWHILE: Some other headlines are more hopeful, such as a rise in consumer confidence.
