Karen Handel resigns from Komen Foundation

Posted by on Tue, Feb 7, 2012 at 9:51 AM

GONE FROM KOMEN: Karen Handel
Karen Handel, the anti-abortion, anti-Planned Parenthood executive who drove the scheme by which the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation intended to stop supporting breast exams by Planned Parenthood has resigned. Her letter makes it clear that this was a considered decision for which some negative reaction was expected.

It remains to be seen if Handel's excision means all malignant influences have been removed from Komen.

News account here.

UPDATE: Naturally, Mitt Romney and his wife supported Planned Parenthood in the past.
