Slowly Republicans turn to Obamacare

Posted by on Fri, Jun 1, 2012 at 2:20 PM

Talking Points Memo has been way out in front on this nuanced but important reporting on the Republican Party's pivot toward Obamacare. Sensing that the Republican-controlled U.S. Supreme Court is about to give them the smackdown of Obamacare they said they wanted, Republicans now must cope with the consequences — the end of immensely popular health benefits that millions of taxpayer/voters enjoy.

Thus, converts to Obamacare among Republicans continue. Just don't believe the insurance industry will let them accomplish any of their poorly formed ideas for preventing cataclysmic unrest among those deprived of coverage — sick people for pre-existing conditions, young people now able to stay covered by parents, old people once again exposed to the "doughnut hole".
