West Memphis Three Lawsuit planned in West Memphis 3 case

Rogers lawyer Ken Swindle says he'll be filing a lawsuit tomorrow in Crittenden Circuit Court in Marion concerning the 1993 deaths of three children in what has come to be known as the West Memphis Three case.

That's all I know. I'm attempting to dig up more details. Mara Leveritt will be in Marion tomorrow.

I hesitate to call attention to this news story from Northeast Arkansas, where the state Ethics Commission waded — properly — into (mis)use of public office so some local cops could get special treatment on purchase of high-powered special guns.

Channel 11 is reporting that three people were killed in an accident today in Scott when a vehicle ran off Old River Road and into a tree.
