Fox 16 reports on a closed administrative hearing today for Little Rock Police Officer Josh Hastings on his actions in the fatal shooting Aug. 12 of a car burglary suspect, a case in which he faces a manslaughter charge.

Separately, the police department is considering job action against Hastings for allegedly not telling the truth about circumstances of the shooting. Hastings has been placed on administrative leave.

Fox 16 reports:

A department spokesman says Josh Hastings has not been fired, however, his firing is likely to come soon.

Hastings will have the opportunity to appeal.
