Education Wynne schools respond to noose incident with black student

CNN has a report, also carried by KTHV, on an incident in Wynne in which white football players put a noose around the neck of a black 9th grader.

School response is everything in cases such as this. See Jena, La.

The school superintendent has recommended two expulsions to the School Board and several suspensions. Superintendent Carl Easley said he's also reviewing staff for inadequate supervision of the players. Black and white parents alike have condemned the act.
