Authorities have captured Curtis Reese Jr., the convicted murderer who escaped from the Tucker Unit prison on Monday by hiding in an empty water tank atop an 18-wheeler. He was hiding in a cave north of Pangburn in Cleburne County, according to Fox 16's David Goins on Twitter.

Reese was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder in the 1997 deaths of Eric Ogden and Lance Kelloms and sentenced to 40 years.
