Early voting in Pulaski open at only one location

I should have mentioned this earlier. Early voting continues today in Pulaski County, but only at one location, the county office building at Markham and Broadway. The site is open until 5 p.m.

Vote, particularly if you're an ethnic minority or poor, if for no other reason than to tick off a Republican.

I don't want everybody to vote. Elections are not won by a majority of the people. They never have been from the beginning of our country and they are not now. As a matter of fact, our leverage in the elections quite candidly goes up as the voting populace goes down.

Before last Friday night, the saddest, most "depressing" Depression-era story I had read was Horace McCoy's "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?"
