Fox 16 is reporting from today's state Board of Education meeting that the board has voted to remove the North Little Rock School District from the fiscal distress list but has placed the Mineral Springs School District on the list because of a decline in its fund balances. It also voted to not to overturn its ruling allowing the Gillett Elementary to stay open.
North Little Rock was placed on the list in 2011 after a state audit found violations.
