Motorcyclist dies in crash, fall from Main Street Bridge

Posted by on Tue, Dec 11, 2012 at 2:13 PM

A motorcyclist died last night about 11:30 p.m. after he hit a retaining wall on north end of the Main Street Bridge hard enough to flip his bike over the guardrail, then fell to the ground below. A homeless man who was sleeping under the bridge was also slightly injured when the falling motorcycle hit him.

The victim was identified as Michael Ross, 45, of North Little Rock. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Ross was traveling north over the bridge when he lost control.
