Police beat Driver dies in Confederate Blvd. wreck

LRPD reports that Corliss L. Terrell of Little Rock was killed about 1:30 a.m. this morning when he lost control of his vehicle on Confederate Boulevard near Willard. It left the road and hit a utility pole. He was thrown from the car.

Fatal wreck diverts I-40 traffic all day

A wreck shortly before 8 a.m. this morning on Interstate 40 near the White River bridge and mile marker 200 caused a death and forced diversion of traffic from the freeway in both directions, a condition that was expected to last until at least 4:30 p.m. today. /more/

A Faulkner County jury returned a unanimous verdict last night that the Greenbrier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center had been negligent in treatment of Martha Bull, 76, who died at the nursing home April 7, 2008 after staff failed to act on a doctor's orders to get her transferred to a hospital emergency room for treatment of severe abdominal pain.
