NEWS UPDATE: The Magnolia Reporter has a full report on the fatal shooting of a McNeil man who'd reportedly threatened a deputy sheriff with a knife. The article said Larry Pace, 60, was shot after pulling a knife on a deputy who'd gotten out of his car to talk to Pace on McNeil's Front Street about 10:30 a.m. today.
