Arkansas privatizes high school diploma program

Did you know Arkansas in 2014 will privatize the previously free GED testing program to obtain high school equivalency diplomas?
I didn't until I listened to this report by KUAF's Jacqueline Froelich.
Additional obstacle apart from the $100 testing fee: Some ability to use a computer will be necessary to take the test.

UPDATE: The House defeats Medicaid expansion appropriation
I'm led to expect a test vote — maybe THE vote — will be held early in today's House session at 1:30 p.m. today on the appropriation bill to pay for expanding Medicaid-financed health coverage in Arkansas.
