Arkansas privatizes high school diploma program

Posted by on Wed, Jan 2, 2013 at 1:30 PM

Did you know Arkansas in 2014 will privatize the previously free GED testing program to obtain high school equivalency diplomas?

I didn't until I listened to this report by KUAF's Jacqueline Froelich.

Additional obstacle apart from the $100 testing fee: Some ability to use a computer will be necessary to take the test.

More background on this from the Times Record in Fort Smith.
