News release reports that David Stewart retired Dec. 31 as executive director of the Arkansas Judicial Discipline and Disability Commission after five years on the job.

The Commission, whose members include judges, lawyers and citizen members, chose as his successor David Sachar, who’s been deputy executive director since 2007. The agency investigates complaints of misconduct against judges.
