The morning roundup:
* I LOVE A PARADE: President Obama takes the oath today for a second term, though formal inaugural activities are tomorrow. David Koon and Brian Chilson of the Times boarded a bus in Little Rock yesterday to join a charter trip organized by the Martin Luther King Jr. Commission. They'll be back with a cover story, but also plan some interim accounts.
* I LOVE A PARADE II: The Central High School Band will be marching in the inaugural parade tomorrow. Director Brice Evans provides some TV guidance for those who might like to the see the gold-and-black-clad Tiger band perform:
We will enter the parade at approximately 2:40 PM CST on Monday. The parade committee has told me that we should complete our performance around 4:00 PM CST. We will probably appear on TV somewhere between 3:30 and 4:00 PM CST.
UPDATE: Channel 4 says Central band will be featured on NBC national news tonight at 5:30 p.m.
