Arkansas Politics OMR! Arkansas in the New York Times!

The Arkansas state senator on a mission to get His name in the paper had a big coup yesterday with a report in the the nation's paper of record. Includes some background on His political rivalry with Linda Tyler, or as He refers to her "that lady Democrat."

Though His mission for publicity is likely to continue in the future, He told the New York Times, “I think we’ve done our duty for now.”

The Little Rock metropolitan area (which includes Conway, Sen. Rapert) is a place with a rich and deep religious tradition.

Before last Friday night, the saddest, most "depressing" Depression-era story I had read was Horace McCoy's "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?"
