The Tuesday line is open; the strong mayor is in the spotlight

Posted By on Tue, Aug 5, 2014 at 4:10 PM

* WATCHING: Going to try to follow LR Board on TV tonight. Will Strong Mayor Mark Stodola be forced to break a tie on another convenience store, this one at 12th and University? The mayor's Planning Commission approved this over the opposition of the city's professional planning staff. Residential neighbors don't want it. But the nameplate on the station will say Murphy, the Arkansas millionaire oil outfit that contributes heavily to political candidates.
