I learned today of the death of Ginger Atkinson, 93. She drove fast, wore no ordinary jewelry and swore like a sailor, including at her Presbyterian Sunday school. She made a career in the law when few women did and was a vigorous advocate well into her 80s. The family is planning a get-together in a few weeks that will include jazz, red beans and rice and lots of stories. Here’s a bit of biography from a Daily Record account, taken from her autobiography.
