Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz will make a campaign stop in Arkansas on Sunday, Feb. 28, two days before the primary on March 1. It’s the third visit he’s made to Arkansas. The location remains to be determined.

Rep. Bob Ballinger is the state chair of Cruz’s campaign. The last poll on the Arkansas primary, released some weeks ago, showed Cruz out in front. With Donald Trump dominating the polling in a number of other states voting on March 1, Arkansas has emerged as a key battleground.
