A call confirms this morning's Facebook post from Rockston's American Bar and Grill; the restaurant is closing tonight. No word yet on the exact reason for the end of this Jerry Barakat venture.

The "official" notice on Facebook:

THANK YOU!! to all our friends for the supporting Rockstons. We are sorry to announce that today will be our last night. COME OUT FOR KARAEOKE WITH MIKE AND KATHY, DRINK SPECIALS, ONE PATIO PARTY TO REMEMBER......

Another later status update says stay tuned to that Facebook page for updates of what's to come.

The Shackleford Drive location has seen a number of different restaurants. Barakat's Gaucho's Grill moved into the space after the closing of Tony Roma's a few years ago, only to relocate back to its original Rahling Road location.
