Little Rock Restaurant Week

Little Rock Restaurant Week
Savor the City, the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau's annual restaurant month, kicks off on Aug. 1 and continues until Aug. 31. See participating restaurants and the specials they're offering here or in pages 52 and 53 of this week's Times.

On the north side of the river, Argenta Restaurant Week also kicks off Aug. 1 and continues through Aug. 13. Cornerstone Pub and Grill, Cregeen's Irish Pub, Reno's Argenta Cafe', Ristorante Capeo, Starving Artist Cafe', Riverfront Steakhouse, Benihana and Argenta Market are all offering $8 two-course lunches and $25 three-course dinners from prix fixe menus. More details here and on the jump.

North Little Rock, AR (July 25, 2011)— August 1-13, 2011, Argenta restaurants roll out some of their best creations in special $8 2-course lunch, and $25 3-course dinner prix fixe menus, along with their regular menus. Extended to two weeks for 2011, the three year old celebration, is a bi-annual event that showcases the Argenta Arts District in downtown North Little Rock as a premier dining and arts destination.

Participating restaurants include Cornerstone Pub and Grill, Cregeen's Irish Pub, Reno's Argenta Cafe', Ristorante Capeo, Starving Artist Cafe', Riverfront Steakhouse, Benihana and Argenta Market.

We are continuing the popular Diner Drawings where patrons may enter to win prizes each time they dine at a participating restaurant during Argenta Restaurant Week. The Grand Prize winner will receive a 14 karat gold pearl station necklace and 14 karat black pearl matching stud earrings valued at $500 from Stanley Jewelers and Gemologists. Other prizes include 2 one-night stays at the Baker House Bed and Breakfast valued at $250, 2 $100 Gift Certificates from Argenta Bead Company, a $215 pottery class at Claytime Studios, a $100 Gift Card to Argenta Market, a $50 Gift Card for Temenos Publishing, and a 1-hour massage valued at $65 from Argenta Healing Arts. The more they dine the more chances they have to win. Drawings will be held on Monday, August 17, 2011.

Argenta Restaurant Week is presented by the Argenta Arts Foundation, whose commitment to the visual, performance, landscape and culinary arts, is evident throughout the Argenta Arts District in downtown North Little Rock. Restaurant Week sponsors include CityGrove Townhomes, Argenta Market, Sysco Arkansas, Ben E. Keith Co. Food Service Distributors, Boulevard Brewing Company, and the North Little Rock Visitor’s Bureau.
