  • Chicken and dumplings from The Southern Gourmasian

Once again, it's time to give us all the juicy details on where and what you ate this week. Whether you found a new gem of a place tucked behind some inconspicuous gas station or revisited an old friend, perhaps reminding yourself of what made this place so special to begin with, we want to hear it all. Before we all go out to celebrate the weekend, let your fellow foodies know what they should be eating.

Here is what you reported last week...we got the scoop on banh mi from Boba teas, smoked ribs from Edward's Grocery, brunch at Red Door, Thyme Kombucha from Loblolly, crawfish pie at Redbones, lengua from Taqueria Karina, turkey salad from Bray Gourmet, Italian cream cake and chocolate cobbler from Alley Oops, and pho from Tranh My. In other words, Arkansans know how to eat well.

I love to hear all the suggestions and I'm frequently looking back through your recommendations to determine my next meal. So share away! Happy weekend, y'all.

  • Looking in on the new Le Pops, now in the Heights

Le Pops is a wonderful addition to the Heights neighborhood. Laurie Harrison is incredibly dedicated to her product, she still works here 7 days a week and is constantly experimenting in the kitchen to develop new flavors. Check them out the next time you need a cool down.
