South on Main, the Oxford American-tied restaurant, began dinner service last night. It’ll continue 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Check out the dinner menu above. Trotters! Rabbit Boudin! Other stuff!

I've been to lunch twice and tried the bar menu another time. Everything's been excellent. Michael's raved about the Hot Chicken Liver Salad. I've raved about the hot chicken biscuit. What have you tried?

Reservations are encouraged. Make them at 244-9660 or by visiting opentable.com/south-on-main.

South on Main is co-owned by Chef Matthew Bell; his wife, Amy Kelley Bell; her aunt, Mary Steenburgen, and Ted Danson
