A new artists' group, the Arkansas Printmaking Collective, is holding its first members exhibition at Hendrix College's Trieschmann Gallery in Conway. The show runs through Nov. 30; reception is 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10.
Artists in the collective work in a variety of printmaking techniques; the exhibit will feature relief, intaglio, photogravure, monoprint and lithography by some of the state's best known artists, among them Evan Lindquist, Win Bruhl, Warren Criswell, Brad Cushman, Melissa Gill, Dominique Simmons, David Warren, Neal and Tammy Harrington, Norwood Creech, Debi Fendley, Diane Harper, Robert Bean, Tod Switch, Dave O'Brien and Tom Sullivan.
Collectors are also members of the collective, formed to widen appreciation of the art form.
