the big needle behind the yarn bombing of the Arkansas Arts Center and a furniture design major at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, will talk about how she organized the tremendous effort that went into clothing the Arts Center and grounds with a nice, big, soft parti-colored apparel. "Yarn Bomb: Art With a Social Conscience" starts with a reception at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, in the lecture hall. Members and UALR students with an ID can get in free; non-members will be charged $10. (It makes sense to join the Arts Center and skip all the event fees, because there are a lot of events).
