
In its new online edition, the Oxford American interviews Sean Bridgers ("Deadwood," the dog handler on "True Blood" two Sundays ago) and others behind the Civil War film work-in-progress "Arkansas Traveler" that we told you about back in April. There's a ten minute clip at the bottom of the interview, too.
Looks like it's got potential.
THE OA: What audience are you aiming for with this project?Sean Bridgers: Our idea is to make a kickass Western. We hope that the more literary crowd gets a lot out of it, but at the same time I just want to reach people I grew up with, or my grandfather, who is no longer with us. He was a farmer from Arkansas, so he's got to dig it, too.
