The Searcy college opens its campus on April 1-2 for the inaugural year of the First Thaw Festival, a weekend-long fundraiser to benefit Heifer International.

Highlights include The Avett Brothers, who you may have seen perform and back Bob Dylan during Sunday's Grammys; Langhorne Slim, the celebrated pop folkie; and Green River Ordinance, the up-and-coming M.O.R./VH1 outfit.

Tickets go up for sale this Monday for $50 a pop.
