What's going on Thursday: The Scarlet Letter, LabRatz and more

For a big-ass heaping plate of chugga-chugga scream-y emo what-have-you, Downtown Music Hall hosts The Scarlet Letter, Crashing Broadway, Mysuicide and As Tall As Giants, 6 p.m., $7.
Little Rock crew The LabRatz bring their eclectic take on Southern hip-hop to White Water Tavern, 10 p.m., $5.
The Joint in North Little Rock has two of the best young rock bands in the state, The Tricks and Whale Fire, 9 p.m., $5.
Last Band Standing — The Rev Room's battle of the bands — features Jason Greenlaw & The Groove, Randy Harsey, Project 7 and Silly Puddles, 9 p.m., free 21-and-older, $5 20 and younger.
