Longtime political activist, author and professor Angela Davis will come to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock on Oct. 25. Her lecture is titled, "Race and Justice: The Consequences of Mass Incarceration." Davis is one of the most vocal critics of the prison industrial complex.

After the lecture, she'll be available to sign copies of her recent books, "The Meaning of Freedom" and "Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass," both of which will be available for purchase.
