Music Thursday: The Gourds at White Water Tavern

So just who is the National Band of Austin? That would be none other than The Gourds, who have earned a devoted fanbase through heavy touring and a genre-eschewing blend of folk, country, rock, zydeco and whatever else they feel like throwing in the mix.
The band plays White Water Tavern Thursday with one of Arkansas's finest, Kevin Kerby, opening up, 9 p.m., $12.
