Jazz saxophonist JWhite is kicking off "A New Jazz Swagger," a series of performances named after his recent album on Friday.

White will be accompanied by Dell Smith, Corey Harris, Paul Campbell, Steve Huddleston and guest vocalist Bijoux.

The show starts at 9 p.m. at The Joint, $25.
