UPDATE: OK, here's the deal with Flaming Lips tickets, from the Office of Student Activities:


Fall Headliner Concert — The Flaming Lips
Sunday, Nov 4 @Barnhill 8PM
Reservations Open from Tues Oct. 23 9AM to
Sat Oct. 27 12AM While Tickets Last

Only one ticket per University of Arkansas student
Duplicate orders will be cancelled.
Must be currently enrolled at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville
Must present valid University of Arkansas student ID in order to pick-up ticket (ID will be scanned). Tickets can be picked up during the following:
Monday, October 29 from 9am - 5pm - Connections Lounge
Tuesday, October 30 from 9am - 5pm - Connections Lounge
Wednesday, October 31 from 9am - 5pm - Living Room Lounge
If you need to arrange an alternate pick-up time, please contact the Office of Student Activities
Student can pick-up their one ticket and present another valid student ID and pick-up another student’s reserved ticket.
Public Ticket Sales will be available October 26 9AM at waltonartscenter.org ($35 plus tax & fees)

Guess I missed this, but on Friday, the Fayetteville Flyer noted that long-running Oklahoma psych-pop outfit The Flaming Lips will be performing Sunday, Nov. 4 at Barnhill Arena on the University of Arkansas campus.

This is one of the Headliner Concert Series, put on by the UA's Office of Student Activities, so that means students get first dibs at tickets. No details yet on the prices or availability of tickets for the general public. We'll update you when more info becomes available.
