My PopUp Main article published in the Nov. 7 issue of the Times incorrectly attributed the painted doors at the festival to art students at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. A student at Central High School brought this error to my attention and I am glad to give credit where credit is due. Alex Christie, a junior, his friends and members of the Little Rock Central Art Club created the doors. The LRCAC did the mural above; and Christie and his group YAMC made up of seniors at Central and an e-Stem student did “Shop Local” (below). Christie wrote that “We only had two weeks MAX to get them done, and were really thankful people enjoyed them!” Other members of YAMC, which seeks to bring street art to downtown, are Patrick Kellycooper, Lizzie Gillum, Katie Li, Spencer Hupp and Jackson Fitzgibbon.
