The University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s UALRTV has produced this video of artists talking about their sculpture outside the Fine Arts Building on campus. Brad Cushman, gallery director, introduces the video, which features work by Todd Swiecichowski, Mia Hall, Michael Warrick, Kerrick Hartman and David O’Brien

The sculptors talk about the why and how of their work. For example, Hall talks about her pillows: They appear to be soft from afar, but they are anything but, and so provide, as she says, the “intersection between expectation and reality.”

UALR deserves accolades for promoting its art department with its frequent videos on what’s happening inside, and now outside, the Fine Arts Building.
